Michael is a NYS licensed Physical Therapist. He graduated from Mercy College and has over 20 years of clinical experience in orthopedics and sports medicine. Michael has specialized training in the McKenzie treatment of spinal disorders as well as Maitland and Mulligan manual techniques for the treatment of extremities and the spine. He has worked with patients ranging from adolescence to geriatrics, high school, collegiate and professional athletes.

His experience on the professional sports level includes working with athletes from the NFL, MLB, NHL, MLL, US Men’s National Soccer Team, NYHRA Jockeys, Long Island Rough Riders soccer, and the US Junior Olympic Gymnastics team. Michael continues to learn new and current techniques by attending continuing education courses.

Chris Kimball is a NYS licensed Physical Therapist who graduated in 2000 from CUNY, College of Staten Island. Chris has extensive experience in training for strength and conditioning and treating orthopaedic and sports related injuries.His clients/patients have ranged from adolescent to geriatric and from the amateur to professional.He is a certified USAW Sports Performance Coach, NSCA Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and Certified in Active Release techniques.Chris is a WNBF professional bodybuilder and has been featured in several magazines.

Evan Bronchick PT, DPT, CSCS

Dr. Evan Bronchick is the Clinical Director of our Seaford facility. He is a licensed New York State physical therapist and NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Evan earned his bachelor’s degree in exercise science from the University at Buffalo in 2006 and received his doctorate in physical therapy from Long Island University – Brooklyn in 2009.

Evan takes pride in being a hands-on physical therapist and focuses on manual techniques that encourage healing and promote proper function. He has experience treating a wide range of patients with a variety of diagnoses, and has taken many continuing education courses including Maitland, active release technique (ART), muscle energy technique (MET), running and foot analysis, and selective functional movement assessment (SMFA). He also has experience working as a personal trainer/exercise physiologist in addition to designing and implementing extensive exercise programs for collegiate Division I athletes. As an active member of the healthcare community, Evan was a guest speaker on sports injury prevention at the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Conference at Queens College.

Most importantly, Evan is empathetic and cares about getting his patients back to their normal lives and will do whatever it takes for them to reach their goals. He develops comprehensive programs specific to each patient so they can return to function, return to sports, and return to their daily routines without pain.

Matthew Lago PT, DPT, ATC

Matthew Lago PT, DPT, ATC is a NYS licensed Physical Therapist, as well as a NYS licensed Certified Athletic Trainer. Matt earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Northeastern University in 2013 where he spent time working in Division 1 athletics throughout the Greater Boston area as well as working at local high schools in Long Island and Queens. It was from that experience Matt decided to further his education and earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from New York Institute of Technology in 2020. Matt has treated a wide variety of patients from professional/collegiate athletes and weekend warriors, as well as pediatric and geriatric populations.
